Your road to recovery

[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]Follow a programme that is based on the premise that emotional hurt often lies at the root of addiction.  Addiction is not only, as many people think, drinking too much or using drugs.  It spans much wider and addiction includes much more.

The word “addiction” is derived from a Latin term which means “to be enslaved”. It refers to a condition of being a slave to a specific habit.  Anything you cannot stop doing, by simply using your will.  An addiction is anything that controls or rules you. Amongst others it includes:

  • Alcoholism
  • Smoking
  • Substance Abuse
  • Abuse of Perscription Drugs
  • Pornography
  • Promiscuity
  • Gambling
  • Eating Disorders
  • Addictive Relationships
  • Self-Mutiliation (Cutting)
  • Internet Addiction and other such as Cellphones, Games etc.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”32px”][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/3″][vc_empty_space height=”105px”][vc_single_image image=”232″ style=”vc_box_shadow_circle” border_color=”grey” img_link_target=”_self”][vc_empty_space height=”45px”][message type=”normal” icon_size=”fa-lg” border=”yes” border_width=”5″]

    MAKE SURE YOU RECEIVE AFTER-CARE

The rehabilitation programme is only the start as the most difficult period is when you resume a “normal” life. The 6-week aftercare period is critical for avoidance of re-lapse and actual forms part of the rehabilitation programme.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/1″][vc_empty_space height=”32px”][testimonials category=”addiction” number=”5″ order_by=”rand” show_navigation=”no” navigation_style=”dark” auto_rotate_slides=”3″ animation_type=”fade” animation_speed=”250″][vc_empty_space height=”38px”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/1″][vc_column_text]

    More Questions?

[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]Question: The perception is that outpatient programmes does not work as it is not “a proper rehabilitation programme”. Is this true and what makes your programme different?

“Our programme is a full programme and only excludes the residency part. It is intensive and has proven successes.”

Question: Is it not better to be taken out of your environment for rehabilitation?

“In certain circumstances this is necessary. However, when you are released you go back to your environment and will have to cope in it, as it is. Remember, your home surroundings/environment has not changed. With our out-patient programme, you learn how to deal with and function in your environment while undergoing rehabilitation.”

Question: Why is the programme six weeks. Many programmes are only three or four weeks?

“Six weeks is necessary to enable an inherent change in the adicts’ attitude, behaviour and general thinking regarding his/her addiction. That is why an aftercare programme is critical after shorter rehabilitation programmes.”[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”32px”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/1″][image_with_text image=”236″][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]
